Hot Air Ballooning, Seville

Back in the day when animals were still for eating and not for handbags, people wanted to fly. Wanted to being the operative segment of that sentence.

You see, plenty of folks wanted to fly however they just weren’t too good at it, and they were particularly rubbish at landing afterward. So rare was it for somebody to return to this rock in one piece that if they did they were essentially re-baptised due to the belief that anything hailing from the sky was of God himself. As a result of our successful jaunt into the sky Lauren has been renamed and will now answer only to “El Flaming Galah”. Meeting new people has been awkward ever since.

Hot air ballooning is heaps of fun. Especially when it requires you to set up your own balloon, a pilot who could well be a little nuts, a brilliant tour company and a semi-crash landing into a field of wildflowers. You couldn’t ask for anything more. Thanks Jordi, we had a ball.
